Some years ago, back in 2014 when we saw on the street what would be our first Nia kitten, SULI, we dreamed of recovering him, looking for hands that would love him forever and a home where he would never go hungry, thirsty, and cold. This is what happened with Kuro, Tibby, Vladi, Zazú, Monti, Roque, Ajolí, Julio, Salem, Howard and hundreds of others who have been part of us. Some could not even spend a few hours because the state in which we find ourselves that way did not allow it. The rest who did have the great fortune to get ahead had two destinies, both full of unconditional love. One of them was to be part of what today we call "Nia's Kittens" forever.
And, as you know, not all of them are in good health, not all of them have a silky white coat, not all of them have light eyes, and not all of them are lucky enough to be negative to two of the handicaps that they condition you forever.
A black cat also deserves to have a family, a hawksbill cat also deserves to be loved, a leukemia-positive baby also wants to be part of you, and another with immunodeficiency does not understand that you no longer love him only because of the marks of a test.
That is why many of our creatures have written in their eyes the "I will never be adopted" because my hair is short and black, the "I will never be adopted" because my face has three colors and it is not showy for the human , and the "I will never be adopted" because the result of a test so decided.
We love their lives without conditions, we love without putting a price or labels on their lives, that is why we dreamed of having what we ask to be possible with the help of all: THE SANCTUARY OF NIA.
