Many of you might know Carole Sánchez, she was the manager and 2nd leg runner of the Sierre Leone team in the World Cup. Her company RuntheWorld organises responsible sports tourism. Sporting adventures with a difference that are not only challenging, creating unique experiences but also challenges that create a positive impact on the country visited through financial aid and awareness. RuntheWorld takes people to run a marathon in Sierre Leone, trek through the Colombian jungle, and cycle in Madagascar.
Obviously with the the way the world has been this last year it has been difficult for people to do such adventures.
Carole has asked me if PB:Running would like to join teams from all over Spain and be involved in participating in a virtual simulation of the 8 stage 522km bike/run/trek from Fianarantsoa to Tuléar in Madagascar to support Agua de Coco Fundation . One person could do it or 100 people could do it for PB:Running, but I thought we could target 50. 50 requires each person to run/walk/cycle 10K.
Each participating team must attempt to raise or donate €1500 to fund a specific project of the NGO Agua de Coco.
If we get 50 people to participate then that is €30 each. Donate €10 to do the run just like you would to enter a race, and maybe family and friends would donate up to €20 for some very worthy causes. For your race, rather than receiving a t-shirt (we have plenty of these), a banana, and a water, instead your money goes to improving the quality of life with an emphasis on children and families In Madagascar and a commitment to inclusive education.
The Run can be done at any time between the 11th June and the 5th July. PB: Running will however try and organise one or two 10K runs where you can do the run as a group.
***How to participate***
1 - Download the app 321Go and sign-up for the ROUL MON COCO challenge
2 - Sign up by selecting our PB Running team and use your discount code PB_RUNNING_RMC
3 - Validate your Athlete ID and donate in Migranodearena (click on the red button and leave us a comment!)
4 -Run Run Run (using the app to register your time and distance) and post your Photofinish on IG stories or reels with the following tag & #:

5-Watch the video(s) and answer the survey(s) you will find on the sign-up page (HERE) before the 5th of July, know who you are supporting, and last but not least, participate in the raffle on July, 6th on the NGO IG.
