This will be the 8th edition of the solidarity camp, and more and more participants are joining this solidarity project, we are looking forward to getting started and seeing the results.
This year, we continue our restoration work and go a little further.
We will work in 5 public schools, 15 classrooms in total, in several neighborhoods in the Mbour area, we will also move to a Serer village, where we will work in a school that serves 3 towns. In addition, we will prepare the ground for a garden at Chadem School as a source of self-supply for the school's children and teachers. All these schools need painting, restoration of furniture, walls, floors, creating a play area in the children's schools, putting in some windows and restoring a well. Furthermore, we want to begin the rehabilitation of a Health Center in the Palmarin area that serves 4 towns in the area and is in a very deteriorated situation.
We will do everything we can with the funds we get and the "hands" we have!
BELLOW YOU GET AN IDEA OF THE IMPACT OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION:
- €15 1 can of water-based paint, we need 63 cans!
- €30 1 can of plastic paint, we need 42!
- €50 10 bags of plaster and cement, we need 60!
- €60 1 food transformation workshop generating employment for 2 women
- €190 salary of a local team professional
Participate and Add
With the funds we want to raise, we will not only buy materials to restore the schools, we will also generate employment for many local people: the carts and vans that take us to work, the painter and his team, who guide us and help us paint, the women who organize the food processing or clothing dyeing workshops for us and our local team of monitors who look after us and support us throughout the project.

Un proyecto de voluntariado orientado a familias, participantes individuales, grupos de amigos, empresas o escolares .
