About the NGO

The Emergency Committee was activated following the earthquake that struck early Monday morning in southeastern Turkey and northern Syria. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake has killed more than 5000 people, injured thousands and left many trapped under rubble. The number is expected to rise in the coming hours and days.

We are helping the Emergency Committee to raise funds to help with immediate food, shelter, water needs and first aid kits, as well as rescue crews in both countries to pick through the rubble, where hundreds are believed to be still trapped.

The people of Turkey and Syria need us more than ever.
