What is this project about?
We want to create a collection of audiovisual pieces that give voice to stories of social transformation in southern India. Through first-person testimonies and images that reflect the reality of numerous rural communities in Anantapur, we will show how collective strength, together with the work of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, drives real changes in areas such as education, health, gender equality, sustainability and housing.
This project aims to make visible the progress, opportunities and determination of thousands of people in vulnerable situations who, with effort and commitment, are building a more dignified and fairer future.
Where will we record the audiovisual pieces?
We will travel to India, where the Vicente Ferrer Foundation has been working for more than 50 years. In India, we will focus on the Anantapur region (Andhra Pradesh), an area where the Foundation works closely with rural communities to improve access to essential services and create opportunities.
Why this project?
This project is a solidarity initiative in favor of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, with the aim of giving visibility to stories that deserve to be told. We want to create audiovisual material that will serve as a bridge between realities, inspire and motivate more people to get involved in social transformation.
It is also an opportunity for us as young creators: we want to show that audiovisual can be a tool for change and that communication has the power to generate impact.
How will we do it?
The funds raised in this solidarity crowdfunding campaign will go entirely to the production of the audiovisual pieces and to the projects of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.
When will the filming begin?
Filming will begin in March 2025 and the first pieces will be ready for release on networks and other platforms in the third quarter of the year. Throughout the process, we will share exclusive content with our sponsors so they can closely follow the evolution of the project.
Who are we?
We are Zap Studios, an audiovisual production company created by three 20 and 21 year olds from Barcelona and Ibiza. We believe in the power of communication to generate impact and we want to demonstrate that audiovisual can be a tool for social transformation.

About the Vicente Ferrer Foundation
The Vicente Ferrer Foundation is a development organization that has been working for more than five decades in India, and more recently in Nepal, in close collaboration with local communities to improve access to fundamental rights such as education, health, gender equality and sustainability.
In India, the Foundation has promoted a development model that has enabled thousands of families in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to improve their living conditions and strengthen their autonomy. In Nepal, it works on behalf of children in vulnerable situations.
Its commitment is clear: to build, together with local communities, a fairer present and future. Because transforming society is everyone's job.
La Fundación Vicente Ferrer es una ONG de desarrollo comprometida con la mejora de las condiciones de vida de las comunidades más desfavorecidas de los estados de Andhra Pradesh y Telangana y con el proceso de transformación de una de las zonas más pobres y necesitadas de la India. Con su forma de pensar y actuar, Vicente Ferrer ha sido capaz de trasmitir su compromiso para erradicar las desigualdades y movilizar las conciencias, a la vez que involucraba a las personas en su propio cambio. Su forma de entender el desarrollo ha dado lugar a un modelo ejemplar en el marco de la cooperación.
Con más de 50 años luchando por la dignidad, el cambio y la igualdad en la India rural, seguimos trabajando para erradicar la pobreza y transformando la sociedad en humanidad.
En este tiempo hemos aprendido muchas cosas, pero lo más importante es que las personas junto a las que trabajamos han tomado conciencia del poder que tienen para gobernar sus vidas y cambiar su destino.
Aún queda camino por recorrer.
