Next Sunday, April 12 marks the start of much more than a sporting challenge; it begins a race for hope, resilience, and quality of life.
The Physical Challenge 🏃♂️🚴♂️🏊♂️
Athlete José Joaquín will take on a titanic challenge: completing 15 triathlons in 15 consecutive days, traveling across different parts of Spain. It will involve hundreds of kilometers of swimming, cycling, and running, pushing his physical and mental endurance to the limit. But the true driving force behind every stroke and every stride is not crossing a finish line—it’s changing lives.
The Cause: Why are we doing this? 🧡
All the sweat and effort behind this 15 x 15 Challenge has a 100% charitable purpose. All funds raised will be fully allocated to the renovation of our new facility.
This new space is vital for us. It will allow us to take a major qualitative leap and provide a comprehensive, high-quality neurorehabilitation service—essential to slowing disease progression and improving the daily lives of people living with Multiple Sclerosis.

La Asociación Esclerosis Múltiple Área Región de Murcia (AEMA RM), nace en el año 2008, por un grupo de personas afectadas de esclerosis múltiple y sus familiares, en Lorca (Murcia). Asociación sin ánimo de lucro, declarada de Utilidad Pública, cuenta en la actualidad con 350 asociados/as.
En AEMA III trabajamos a favor de las personas con Esclerosis Múltiple y otras patologías análogas a esta, con la finalidad de mejorar su calidad de vida y la de sus familias y/o cuidadores.
Nuestra misión es ser un lugar de referencia de las personas que directa o indirectamente están afectadas por EM u otras enfermedades similares, con el fin de mejorar su calidad vida, ofreciendo atención social, grupos de apoyo, apoyo psicológico y los servicios de rehabilitación integral necesarios para recuperar y mejorar las capacidades físicas y cognitivas de cualquier daño neurológico desde las disciplinas de la fisioterapia, logopedia, neuropsicología y terapia ocupacional.
