Rehabilitation of a house for young people at social risk, as a support towards their autonomy

Hogar San José Foundation is mainly dedicated to the protection of minors. It has up to 46 placements for children and teenagers (from 3 to 18 years old). In some cases, they don't have a familiy; in others, their family can't take care of them, or they just don't manage to do it in the proper way. When they reach the age of 18, they have to quit this program, that is supported by the public authorities, and strictly for minors. But assuming that no family would kick out from home to a son or daughter when he or she becomes 18, we (Hogar San José Foundation) never would do that. We will always favour their autonomy but, in some cases, a transition time is needed. And for that, we need a house for those cases. In parelell, we provide them support in terms of training, labor insertion, emotional support and other aspects
