About the NGO

My name is Paula, and I have been traveling in summer to Cambodia with PSE Por la Sonrisa de un Niño since 2016. Thanks to this volunteering I have been able to share my time with an amazing project, live unique experiences and meet incredible people. Without a doubt, it impacted my perspective on life!

My name is Diego, I had the opportunity to get to know the NGO and in particular the School Continuity Programme, in which I was able to participate for one day in 2019. The truth is that I love the proposal and being able to contribute my bit in a sporty way!

Phnom Penh Express 3 is a sporting and charity event organized by For a Child's Smile (PSE). The money raised will be used to finance the School Continuity Program 2022 that will take place in December 2022. This program mobilizes almost 400 European and Cambodian monitors who for one month give continuity to the educational, care and protection programs developed by PSE throughout the year.

On the sporting side of the challenge, we have set ourselves the goal of virtually covering the distance between our headquarters in Europe and the center of Phnom Penh, a total of 13,000 km, in 4 weeks. So week by week, we will add up the kilometers that each participant has cycled, walked or run to see if we all manage to cover those 13,000 km.

PSE Por la Sonrisa de un Niño es una asociación declarada de utilidad pública que cuenta con el Sello ONG Acreditada por la Fundación Lealtad. La ONG actúa en Camboya desde 1995, trabajando con miles de niños en situación de extrema pobreza, para que tengan un futuro digno.
