About the NGO

Phnom Penh Express 2 is a sports and solidarity challenge organized by PSE - Pour une Sourire d'Enfant. This NGO is supporting more than 1,600 families during the Covid-19 crisis. Many families have lost all their income. Schools have closed. The children that “Pour une Sourire d'Enfant” welcomes throughout the year have had to return to their homes, where they live in situations of poverty. They need our help.

The group of PSE volunteers have decided to come to their aid and mobilize to raise funds. Our goal is to raise the money necessary to feed 1,633 families during the months of May and June, making a total of € 65,962, which represents a cost per family of € 40.

As due to the crisis, we cannot fly to Cambodia this summer, we have set ourselves the goal of traveling virtually together the distance between our headquarters in Europe and the center of Phnom Penh, for a total of 13,000 km, in 6 weeks. So week by week, we will add the kilometers that each participant has traveled by bike, walking or running to see if together we can cover those 13,000 km.
