ALS is a terrible disease that affects millions of people around the world and for which there is no cure at the moment. At City Sightseeing, we have learned about its tough reality through the association dalecandELA. The indomitable spirit of Jaime Lafita, its founder, who suffers from ALS, inspires us to join his cause and bring visibility to the disease and raise funds for research.
Despite suffering from ALS, Jaime was able to ride 900 kilometres on a tandem bicycle without an engine to bring the voice of ALS sufferers to the European Parliament in Brussels. Today, we want the tandem to continue riding through our challenge and all those who want to join in through pedALS for life.

Fundada en Julio de 2019, dalecandELA es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro cuyo objetivo es la lucha contra la Esclerosis Lateral Amiotrófica (ELA) mediante la organización de eventos y venta de artículos, cuyos beneficios se destinan a la investigación para encontrar una cura así como a la ayuda a quienes la padecen. La donación directa es otra de sus fuentes de ingresos.
Con un espíritu y mentalidad positivas como sello identitario, desde dalecandELA se transmiten valores como el esfuerzo, la superación, la actitud positiva frente a la adversidad, la generosidad, amistad, solidaridad y las ganas de disfrutar de la vida a pesar de los reveses que se presentan en el camino.
