HAVE YOU EVER WOKEN UP FEELING DIZZY AND UNBALANCED, WITH EVERYTHING SPINNING AROUND YOU?

Imagine a spinning wheel: vertigo affects many people, but too many get lost in a maze of confusing or wrong diagnoses.

Like the story of Maialen Chorraut, a triple Olympic medallist from the Basque Country who struggled for 12 long months before finding a solution. Help us break that cycle. With your contribution to our crowdfunding campaign, we can support research and provide real solutions.

We present to you the Nystavert Project, an innovative initiative that seeks to improve the diagnosis and treatment of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).

Vertigo is a condition that can disrupt daily activities and significantly affect the quality of life of those affected.

What is BPPV, and why is it important to treat?

BPPV is a condition in which small particles travel inside the inner ear, causing episodes of intense vertigo. This spinning sensation and dizziness can be extremely distressing for patients, limiting their activities and affecting their mental and emotional health.

Unfortunately, BPPV can be difficult to diagnose and treat, requiring multiple doctor visits and therapies that are not always effective.

What is the Nystavert Project, and how will we address this issue?

The Nystavert Project is an innovative solution that aims to use technology to improve the lives of BPPV patients. We are developing a mobile application that will allow professionals to diagnose more accurately and efficiently. By recording, we will be able to identify patterns of nystagmus, which are involuntary eye movements that are associated with vertigo.

Why do we need your support?

To carry out this project, we need the support of the community. Our crowdfunding campaign aims to raise funds for the development and implementation of the Nystavert application. Every euro given brings us closer to providing an accessible and effective solution for BPPV patients.

With your help, we will be able to improve the lives of many people struggling with this condition.

How can you help?

We invite you to join our campaign through the crowdfunding platform migranodearena. With your contribution, you will be laying the first stone in building a future where vertigo is no longer a barrier to a full and active life.

Who are we behind it?

The VERTAP group of the IDIAP Jordi Gol, has been working on this issue for more than 10 years and doing research and teaching to try to provide scientific evidence and at the same time train Primary Care professionals to reach this desired point that these patients can be diagnosed and treated in the first contacts with the health system, with a great saving of time and suffering, as well as costs for the person and the health system.

Thank you for your help in our fight against vertigo! Together, we can make a difference!
