At Bokk Boolo, we work side by side with local communities to create lasting change. What began as classroom renovations has grown into a much broader mission: improving educational opportunities, supporting local employment, empowering women and young people, and strengthening community projects throughout the year.
Together, we're not just improving buildings—we're investing in people and their future.
What Will We Do This Summer?
As part of our 2026 solidarity camp, volunteers and local teams will collaborate on a range of educational and community projects in the Mbour region:
🏫 Renovating and improving classrooms and preschools
🌱 Creating community gardens and shared outdoor spaces
🎨 Enhancing educational and recreational areas for children
📚 Developing spaces for audiovisual and digital learning
👩🏽🌾 Supporting women's training in traditional dyeing and batik techniques
💛 Strengthening projects led by local associations and community groups
Several of these initiatives began during our Easter program and will continue this summer thanks to the combined efforts of local professionals, community members, and international volunteers.
Your Donation Builds More Than Walls
Your contribution goes far beyond materials and equipment.
It helps us:
✔️ Create direct and indirect local employment
✔️ Support local professionals, artisans, and educators
✔️ Provide practical training opportunities for young people
✔️ Improve learning environments for children and families
✔️ Ensure community projects remain active throughout the year
Over the past few years, more than 8,000 people have benefited directly or indirectly from projects developed together with Bokk Boolo and our local partners.
We believe in a model of solidarity based on collaboration, participation, and mutual learning—working together to create sustainable opportunities that last.
What Your Support Will Make Possible
🎯 Fundraising Target: €6,500
The funds raised will support:
- Building and renovation materials
- Educational and community equipment
- Training and capacity-building activities
- Transportation and project logistics
- Salaries and compensation for local collaborators
Every euro is carefully invested to generate the greatest possible impact within the community.
Will You Help Make It Possible?
Every contribution makes a difference.
💸 €15 can provide painting and renovation materials
💸 €50 can help improve a classroom or educational space
💸 €60 can support a training workshop for women
💸 €190 can contribute to the salary of local professionals working on these projects
Behind every classroom, every mural, every garden, and every community space, there are people creating opportunities for their families and their future.
With your support, children will learn in better classrooms, women will gain access to new opportunities, and communities will continue building a stronger future for themselves.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps make that possible.
