About the NGO

ASSEJAZZ, is an association founded in Seville in 2013. Its main objective is the promotion of jazz, programming concerts on a local and international scale, training workshops and masterclasses in addition to other activities.

Until now, the activities of our association have been performed in spaces provided by public administrations. At the beginning of 2020 we acquired a small space of our own where we planned to carry out some of our activities but unfortunately, the pandemic arrived and after the confinement, due to its small size, we could not take full advantage of it.

Even so, we never lost heart. We kept looking and finally we managed to rent a large space where we could develop our activities. An old hall for celebrations of 300m2 will house our association and we will finally be able to have a concert hall, a classroom for workshops, plus a licensed bar and kitchen etc.

And a wonderful spacious patio!

But first, we have to achieve a complete reform of the space to make it suitable and adapt it to the current regulations (very strict as it is a space dedicated to live music) in order to obtain the activity license.

These works include: fireproofing and acoustic insulation, bathroom renovations, accesses, electrical installation and a long list valued at more than 60.000€.

This is why we are asking for your help through this campaign and we appreciate any and every contribution, no matter how small or big it may be.

Remember that if you are a resident in Spain you can deduct up to 80% of your donation:

Individuals- Amount to be deducted in the IRPF:

The first €150 of donation entitles you to a deduction of 80%.

From €150 onwards you are entitled to a 35% deduction.

Legal persons - Amount to deduct in the IS: Companies are entitled to a deduction of 35% of their donations.

For donors outside of Spain we are happy to provide you with a receipt for your tax purposes.

La Asociación Sevillana de Jazz (ASSEJAZZ) es una Asociación sin ánimo de lucro cuyo objetivo fundamental es crear un marco que facilite los procesos creativos de los músicos de jazz de Andalucía, crear una oferta formativa accesible a jóvenes y colectivos interesados en el jazz como forma de expresión musical, fomentar el intercambio de experiencias entre proyectos creativos con diferentes tradiciones y culturas en torno al jazz y difundir e impulsar la música de jazz en nuestra ciudad y su ámbito de influencia.

The Sevillian Jazz Association (ASSEJAZZ) is a non-profit association whose main objective is to create a framework to facilitate the creative processes of jazz musicians in Andalusia, create a training opportunities accessible to young people and groups interested in jazz as a form of musical expression, promote the exchange of experiences among different cultures and traditions illustrated though the fusion of jazz with other musics, while disseminating and promoting jazz music in our city and its sphere of influence.
