Can you imagine living in a shelter for 13 years and suddenly finding yourself homeless? That's the situation faced by more than 150 animals rescued from abuse, abandonment, Noah's syndrome, unwanted litters, and a thousand other stories we could tell you. You can imagine the situation most of these poor animals end up in: malnourished, injured, psychologically and physically traumatized...
And now that they've managed to overcome their horrible past at AXLA and be adopted, they find themselves left with nothing in 3 months time. We must keep in mind that many of these animals came into our care as babies and have been with us for a staggering 10, 11, or even 12 years.
For this reason, we need your financial support to relocate them to residences, foster homes... until we find the best solution for all of them and continue our work.
All these years we have fought tirelessly for each of the lives that have come our way. Tireless years of volunteers, collaborators, partners/sponsors, veterinarians... have contributed their part, making AXLA home to so many animals. In total, more than 6,000 animals have been rescued.
Somos un grupo de personas conscientes de que todo a nuestro alrededor necesita mejorar y sabemos que los animales son parte importante de nuestra sociedad, que aportan, ayudan y comparten este mundo. Pensamos que nuestro trabajo por ellos es un buen comienzo para conseguir un mundo mejor y nos hemos propuesto ser una asociación grande y fuerte en esta labor.
