Dear family and friends,
Just back from a wonderful travel to Kenya, where my son Alec is collaborating with a Spanish humanitarian association KUBUKA, active in Nairobi’s slums, the biggest of the African continent. Among other projects, this association is supporting a pre-primary and primary school HUMANITAS, in the very heart of the slums and I have had the opportunity to visit and exchange with the children (all in a situation of vulnerability), with the teachers as well’s with the head teacher, Elizabeth; all extraordinary people whose mission is no less than changing 370 children’s lives by giving them an education and a daily meal.
Following a new government law, in a near future all schools which only offer primary school (without offering secondary education) will have to close and dissappear. Elizabeth has already found a land on sale, just besides the school which would allow the center to develop instead of disappear, we just have to gather the funds … HELP ME to save this project and the 370 kids who, otherwise, would be deprived of education and brighter future prospects. Thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Nuestra visión es generar un modelo que consiga una auto-sostenibilidad de los proyectos para poder extrapolar los conocimientos adquiridos a otras comunidades, escuchando las ideas y necesidades de las personas beneficiarias, y aportando un desarrollo personal a las actrices y actores de cambio.
