December is a month filled with significant dates: Conor's birthday, Christmas, and the first anniversary of his passing.
I've been reflecting on ways to honor Conor's memory and carry on his legacy: to mark these important dates, I’m taking on a special challenge and I’d love your support.
The goal is walking (or running/cycling) Half a Million Steps (approximately 350Km).
This challenge isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us coming together to remember Conor and make a meaningful contribution in his name. Here’s how you can join in:
• Add Your Steps or Kilometers: Help me collectively reach the Half a Million Steps goal by walking, running, or cycling in Conor’s memory. Every step counts! (You can send me your steps/km by messaging me)
• Sponsor the Challenge: Make a donation. I have chosen the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Foundation because of their significant progress in researching innovative leukemia treatments, such as CAR-T therapy. These treatments offer great promise for patients who don’t respond to conventional therapies, like Conor.
• Spread the Word: Share this challenge with your friends and family so we can make this a truly special commemoration.
• Sign up to be a Bone Marrow donor.
Your involvement—whether by adding steps, contributing with a donation, or cheering on—will mean so much.
