CUBA SOLIDARIA

At Zaragoza Solidaria we always work to help our families in an integral way. The assistance we provide always goes a little further than the distribution of food or material resources. We like listening to their problems, their concerns, their dreams. Their projects are important to us.
This is why we are presenting the González Family (Adiel and Annaibis) today. They arrived in Spain in May 2022 with a backpack full of dreams and projects, leaving behind family, friends and having sell all their belongings in an effort to arrive in Spain with some money that would give them the opportunity to start a life new.
At Zaragoza Solidaria we were helping them in everything that we could, however, circumstances were getting more complicated both in Spain and in Cuba. The relatives they left in Cuba were going through circumstances that required bringing the family back together.
In September they decided to return to their beloved Cuba, and we kept in touch with them and their situation, trying to help them as much as we could from the distance. Recently, we have found the best way to help them and we want to make you all part of this.
Our desire is to help Adiel and Annaibis to buy a MotoTaxi, which would give them a professional and economic opportunity.
In Cuba it is difficult to own vehicles in good condition, new ones are even more expensive than in Spain and the used market is equally inaccessible for most Cubans. The motorcycle taxis have different prices. They have €900 to invest in this project and our goal is to raise €700 so they can buy an electric motorcycle for €1,600, which is the cheapest vehicle, with which they will be able to generate income. To afford their basic needs, enough to live.
We want to reach those 700€ and that they can, with effort and work, be able to develop this economic activity.
