COLLABORATE TO CHANGE THE SITUATION OF MOTHERS AND BABIES IN MALAWI

In Malawi, pregnant women and newborns face a daunting reality: the lack of access to adequate maternal and neonatal health services. This situation puts the lives and well-being of mothers and babies at risk, who deserve to receive quality medical care.

To address this pressing need, a new maternity center is being built in Chezi. This center will provide essential medical care to the vulnerable population of pregnant women and newborns in the region.

Our organization has committed to financing part of the necessary medical equipment so that this center can function effectively, and thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, we have already raised the funds needed to acquire a hematology counter valued at approximately 5.000€, a fundamental tool for the timely diagnosis and treatment of health problems such as anemia.

However, we still need to reach the 3.500€ required to purchase an ultrasound machine, another key element for this maternity center. The ultrasound will allow medical staff to monitor fetal development and detect possible complications during pregnancy. This early diagnostic capability can save lives, significantly reducing the risks of mortality and morbidity for mothers and babies.
