Laia Pujol Priego left us on August 11, 2023 at the age of 42. Laia was a woman, daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend who made everyone who knew her better. Mother of two daughters, students at the Santa Anna school, professor at ESADE, licensed in piano by the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona, member of the School Council of the school, and also a volunteer in various cooperation projects, Laia deeply believed that the education is the key to improving people and the world.
In his memory, in collaboration with Escola Santa Anna, we want to create scholarships for those families who wish to send their children to Escola Santa Anna but do not have sufficient financial resources.
And also to remember and try to prevent tragedies like that of Arsalan, the P3 student at the Santa Anna school who died in 2021 in a fire in the abandoned bank office where he lived with his family, from repeating themselves.
The Laia Pujol Priego Scholarships will be carried out thanks to the donations collected on this portal and will be managed by the Fundacio Escola Santa Anna and evaluated by a committee formed by representatives of the school and the family, with complete transparency.
We encourage you to collaborate and contribute a grain of sand to the education of many children. We are sure that Laia would do it.
