At Som Alaire, a non-profit association, we have been helping people with special needs through assisted therapy with horses for more than 20 years. We have become references in the sector. The secret of our success has always been to prioritize the physical well-being and emotional balance of our horses so that they can help our users who have a fundamental role in their therapy sessions.
They are raised in semi-freedom, without restraints, with access to a slow feeder, weekly training, periodic attention from a vet and farrier, etc.
The Covid-19 has paralyzed everyone's life and this has not only paralyzed the Entity's income lines, but has also ended with our reserve funds, but our horses have the same needs (food, facilities, veterinarian, farrier, etc.)
This lack of own income lasts two more months taking into account that, due to the heat and the required security measures, until September we will not be able to resume full activities. In addition, all the aid and subsidies that we usually access are either paralyzed or necessary to the health crisis.
We face an uncertain future, in which we have the responsibility to continue to maintain the essential part of the team, our co-therapists the horses, as we have done up to now. That is why we ask for help, however small, to be able to continue with this much-needed project.
We know that we are all going through difficulties, which makes any contribution more valuable. Please share this message with your friends and family, we are sure that together we will succeed!

Disposem d’un centre adaptat a les necessitats dels nostres usuaris, en un entorn privilegiat envoltat de natura i tranquil·litat, elements fonamentals per dur a terme la nostra tasca.
