We are looking for support to enable this group of children aged 6 to 9 years old to continue with Art Therapy and Therapy Dogs. The project is innovative, it has been carried out with private funding, with a weekly frequency, for 1 year and 4 months until June 2024 in the San Pablo Cultural Association, and there have been surprisingly beneficial results, great advances that have also included the families in an active way with quarterly workshops of joint co-creation. Many topics have been worked on through art, such as emotional management, bullying, conflict resolution, self-care... all accompanied by the intervention dog that helps the group with its unconditional love, favouring the children in many aspects, such as communication, listening and containment.
These children have been committed, have made a great effort and have been very grateful during this project. We believe that they need continuity to be able to consolidate the process that was started, as it was not possible to finish the second year, and thanks to this crowdfunding they will be able to continue for another year with a fortnightly frequency. We will continue in the same Association and we are very grateful for the support of every grain of sand that you contribute.

La Asociación Cultural San Pablo, es un asociación sin ánimo de lucro que se creó en los años 80 como colectivo social, y que poco a poco ha ido creciendo hasta convertirse en asociación, jurídicamente reconocida.
Estamos ubicados en el distrito de Vallecas, concretamente en la barriada de San Pablo, que engloba los barrios de Portazo, Palomeras y Buenos Aires. Mantenemos los principios y objetivos de los inicios, siendo el principal el posibilitar un espacio socioeducativo para menores y familias del barrio, donde puedan compartir, aprender, crecer, divertirse junto a otros chavales y familias. Este espacio es creado para y por ellos, para intentar garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades, de minimizar al máximo la desigualdad basada en recursos económicos, sociales…., por tanto, que independientemente de donde se nazca, se pueda llegar hasta donde cada niñ@, cada familia, se proponga, acompañándoles en ese proceso y favoreciendo el desarrollo integral de las personas.
