Who are we?

Since 2012, we have been pursuing the social integration of children in Ocotal, Nicaragua. In coordination with the local education authorities, families and schools, we give support to Primary school children in vulnerable situations.

Why the wifi?

We support social integration of children through three main pillars: health, education and personal development. Connectivity is key for the children we work with to access educational resources, find information and develop their digital skills.

Our educators also use the net to find resources, collaborate and communicate. 

In reality, we probably use the internet for the same things you do...

How much does it cost?

Our wifi costs the equivalent of 28€ per month (336€ per year).

What goals does the project pursue?

Your help will contribute towards the following results:

1. Children who develop the skills and competences they need in order to lead fulfilled lives and contribute to society.
2. Parents who are committed to supporting their children's education and their holistic development. 
3. Better schools that educate the whole child, through an apprach that dignifies and respects the individual, and based on principles of personalisation and inclusion.
4. Improved well-being for children and society, where people are equipped with tools for self-regulation and emotional management.
