About the NGO

GEICAM and the INVI Male Breast Cancer Association have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting research through studies focused on breast cancer in men that identify more effective and individualized therapies that increase survival with less toxicity for patients, resulting in an improvement in their care and quality of life after diagnosis. This agreement also seeks to inform and raise awareness in society about this pathology in men, which, although it accounts for less than 1% of breast cancer diagnoses in Spain, is increasing by 1.1% annually, according to recent epidemiological studies.

Participate in this AI course and contribute to male breast cancer research. 100% of the profits allocated to the research program.

Course cost: EUR 50. Donations of higher amounts are very welcome.

GEICAM, constituido como Fundación, es el grupo referente en investigación en Cáncer de mama en España con más de 25 años de experiencia y un reconocido prestigio a nivel internacional. Actualmente está constituido por más de 950 especialistas en el abordaje del cáncer de mama, que trabajan en más de 200 hospitales en toda España.

Desde su constitución en 1995, GEICAM ha realizado más de un centenar de estudios en los que han participado más de 65.000 mujeres y hombres, y efectuado más de 195 publicaciones científicas.
