Sabías que 226... Es la suma de todos los quilómetros que se recorren en las tres disciplinas de un TRIATLON de larga distancia (IRON MAN) ???
Proponerte terminar un IRON MAN para celebrar tu 40 cumpleaños... ¡a todas luces puede parecer una insensatez!
Proponerte terminar un IRON MAN para celebrar tu 40 cumpleaños y que cada PASO, cada gota de sudor, cada momento de sufrimiento (creo que habrá muchos) sirva para que otras personas que han tenido menos oportunidades que yo en la vida, solo por tener CAPACIDADES distintas, puedan seguir haciendo deporte y con ello sentirse parte de una sociedad que a menudo les excluye... SI QUE TIENE SENTIDO.
Voy a correr mi primer IRON MAN por SPECIAL OLYMPICS y necesito tu AYUDA.
Si has llegado hasta aquí, te pido que sigas leyendo un poco más y que veas el video que hemos preparado.
Me llamo Sergi Grimau Gragera, tengo 40 años y durante más de 15 fui jugador de baloncesto profesional. Colaboro activamente con Special Olympics entidad que ayuda a la inclusión social de personas con discapacidad intelectual a través del deporte.
Cuando hacemos deporte todos somos IGUALES, es el camino para que TODOS seamos iguales SIEMPRE.
Quiero conseguir fondos para ayudar a que ellos y ellas puedan seguir haciendo deporte, devolver un poco de todo lo mucho que he recibido en estos años.
Todos los fondos recaudados serán integramente entregados y destinados a proyectos de Special Olympics, a través de esta plataforma.
Ellos y ellas me han enseñado los verdaderos valores del deporte, pero sobre todo de la amistad y del compañerismo sin condiciones.
Correré mi primer IRON MAN en Roth (Alemania), considerado el mejor Triatlón de larga distancia de Europa.
Yo seré sus piernas y sus brazos por un día, tu también puedes SENTIRTE PARTE...tu también habrás corrido un IRON MAN por ellos.
Te propongo que nos ayudes a CAMBIO de NADA, no te mandaremos nada material... tendrás reservado un ABRAZO de los de verdad y una SONRISA incondicional, lo podrás pasar a buscar cuando quieras... ¡NO CADUCA!

Did you know that 226 is the total number of kilometres covered in the three disciplines of the long-distance triathlon called Iron Man?
Challenging yourself to complete an Iron Man to celebrate your 40th birthday may sound insane. However, thinking that each step I take, each drop of sweat, and each moment of suffering (I think there will be a few of those!) may help people who have had fewer opportunities in life than me, just because of their disability, and that my actions may help them carry on playing sport and subsequently feel that they belong in a society that often excludes them??? then it all make sense!
I am going to do my first Iron Man for Special Olympics, and I need your sponsorship. If you have read this far, please carry on reading and watch our video.
My name is Sergi Grimau Gragera, I am 40 years old and for over 15 years I played basketball professionally. I am actively involved with Special Olympics, which supports the social inclusion of people with mental disabilities through sport.
When we play sport, we are equal. This is the way to make sure we are always equal.
I would like to raise funds for Special Olympics so that they can carry on playing sports.I also want to give something back for everything I have got from them in the last few years.
These guys have taught me the real VALUES of sport, and above all, the unconditional values of FRIENDSHIP and COMPANIONSHIP.
I will be doing my first Iron Man in Roth (Germany), which is deemed the best long-distance triathlon in Europe.
For one day, I will be their legs and their arms. You can also BE PART of it. By sponsoring me, you will have also completed an Iron Man for them.
If you sponsor me, you will not receive any merchandising. However, we will reserve a BIG HUG and an unconditional SMILE, which you can pick up whenever it suits you. It does not expire! Thanks for reading this far.

Se necesitan muchos fondos para preparar unas olimpiadas para las personas con discapacidad Psíquica como lo son todos los participantes de los Special Olympics! como por ejemplo mi hermana una magnifica jugadora de basquet, una espectacular nadadora y una verdadera luchadora, igual que lo son todos los deportistas del Clubesportiualfa Tegar.
Sin la ayuda de muchas entidades colaboradoras y sobretodo los padres de estos luchadores, que son quien se lo pagan todo,nada de esto seria posible! Un evento tan especial e importante como son los Special Olympics Catalunya se merece mucha mas atención de la que tiene!
Animaros a ayudar e incluso a participar como voluntarios! os sentiréis bien!
