I am an English language teacher and Barcelona resident. having lived here for several years I have noticed how serious the problem of homelessness is. I would like to hold English conversation groups in order to raise money to help Arrels Fundació help those living on the streets.
For a small donation to the cause I (and hopefully some of my other native English speaker friends) will help people practice their English by offering the chance to talk to native speakers and other learners and by providing correction and help with any language questions. It should also be a fun way to meet other language learners in the city!

Soy profesora de inglés y residente de Barcelona. Llevo unos años aquí y veo que hay mucha gente viviendo sin techo. Quiero recaudar fondos para la Arrels Fundació, la cual ayuda a las personas que viven en la calle, por crear un grupo para aprendientes de inglés en el que pueden conversar entre ellos y conmigo (y mis amigos nativos) en inglés para practicar.
Por dar cinco euros a la Fundació ofreceré a la gente la oportunidad de practicar su inglés con nativos y otros estudiantes del idioma, corregiré los errores y ayudare con cualquier duda que tenga. Además de ser una buena manera de mejorar el inglés, creo que será una buena oportunidad de conocer a más gente divertida de la cuidad!
Arrels Fundació som una entitat que, des de 1987, atenem i orientem les persones sense llar que viuen als carrers de Barcelona. Les acompanyem per aconseguir una vida el més autònoma possible cobrint les necessitats bàsiques, proporcionant atenció social i sanitària i garantint allotjament a aquelles persones que es troben en una situació més vulnerable.
També treballem per sensibilitzar la ciutadania, denunciar situacions injustes i aportar solucions a les administracions i a la societat civil per fer possible #ningúdormintalcarrer.

Arrels Fundació somos una entidad que, desde 1987, atendemos y orientamos a las personas sin hogar que viven en las calles de Barcelona. Las acompañamos para conseguir una vida lo más autónoma posible cubriendo las necesidades básicas, proporcionando atención social y sanitaria y garantizando alojamiento a aquellas personas que se encuentran en una situación más vulnerable.
También trabajamos para sensibilizar a la ciudadanía, denunciar situaciones injustas y aportar soluciones a las administraciones ya la sociedad civil para hacer posible #nadiedurmiendoenlacalle.
