On the 15th and 16th of October the Murcian Association of Multiple Sclerosis held the "Health and Robotics" conference, where we have been able to test, thanks to EKSO Bionics, the operation of the Exoskeleton.
What does the use of the Exoskeleton entail?
This device allows standing and walking in users with partial or total paralysis of the lower limbs, as occurs with some people with Multiple Sclerosis. Through exoskeleton therapy, goals are achieved that are difficult to achieve in a usual rehabilitation session. The device allows a stable and safe standing: activating the correct gait patterns, making the muscles involved adequate and avoiding the compensations typical of altered patterns.
During the use of this innovative device, many people have been surprised by how it works, but especially those who have noticed it the most have been our users with Multiple Sclerosis.

For the presentation of the device we also received a visit from Isabel Franco, Minister of Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy in the Region of Murcia; Antonio Sánchez Lorente, Secretary of same council and Paqui Pérez, Delegate Councilor for the Elderly, Disability, Development Cooperation and Housing in the Murcia City Council.
As you can see, the benefits are enormous in terms of rehabilitation for patients with Multiple Sclerosis, the results in their tests have been practically immediate and it represents a great leap in the quality of the service offered and in the lives of people with Multiple Sclerosis. For this reason, we need your collaboration to achieve our goal, any donation is a great step! Both at a private and business level.
