Imagine facing a child’s illness in Nepal, far from home, and without the means to stay near the country’s only public pediatric hospital. This is the reality for many rural families, often forced to sleep outside or abandon treatment due to the lack of accommodation in Kathmandu.
At Nyano Angalo, we’ve teamed up with Casa BAS—a local initiative supporting vulnerable people—to renovate their third floor and turn it into a warm, welcoming home for families who must temporarily relocate to the capital while their children receive medical care.
We’re no longer building from scratch; we’re bringing life to an existing space, creating rest, dignity, and care when it’s needed most.
🎯 Our goal:
To raise €60,000 to renovate and equip this solidarity space. With your support, we’ll create room for up to 8 rural families, including a kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and psychosocial support.

La misión de Nyano Angalo es simple pero crucial: mejorar el acceso a la atención médica pediátrica en Nepal.
En un entorno donde la topografía montañosa de los Himalayas y las deficientes carreteras dificultan el acceso a la atención médica en las zonas rurales, Nyano Angalo intenta dar respuesta.
Brindamos un refugio temporal a niños y sus familias que enfrentan enfermedades y requieren tratamiento, y necesitan estar cerca de la capital, donde se encuentra el único hospital público pediátrico del país.
Nuestra visión es reducir las desigualdades en salud durante la infancia, acercando a los niños que necesitan atención médica al hospital.
