We plan to walk/cycle 500kms between us during the month of April to raise money for the Cancer Support Group, Mallorca.
CSG Mallorca is a charity that helps foreigners in Mallorca and Menorca who are affected by cancer. They offer translations and transport for medical appointments, counselling for patients and their family members, nutritional advice and help to request benefits the patient and carer may be entitled to, all of this totally free of charge, Their team of volunteers also make home and hospital visits and where possible offer practical help. They also give items such as wigs, caps, and prostheses to cancer patients.
During recent years the need for counselling has doubled, the charity works with a team of psycologists and counsellors who generously offer many free hours and large discounts. However the charity needs more funds to cover this need, and others, so I am really grateful for your support in this challenge so I can help them to continue to offer this vital help to the residents on the islands.
Somos una asociación pequeña que ayudamos a pacientes extranjeros con cáncer con apoyo emocional, nutricional, etc en su propia idioma, además de traductores, tratamientos suplementarios y ayuda practica en la casa.
