Hi, my name is Fiona and I've been living and working in Barcelona for 11 years.
On October 22nd 2017, I will be running my first Marathon in Dresden, Germany. I've chosen to run for the “Fundación Pasqual Maragall” For a Furture Without Alzheimers.
Alzheimers is one of the most devastating diseases, one that I have always been a strong advocate for in trying to support and one that I don't think gets enough awareness. I have witnessed close family and family of friends who have suffered from this debilitating disease and the impact that it has and the toll that it takes truly breaks my heart. Even the very thought of it gets me teary eyed. To have anyone go through the process of letting go of someone while they are living with Alzheimers saddens me.
Please help support others in finding a cure to this horrible disease and make a donation. My aim is to reach 2000 euros. Anything you can contribute is welcome as every bit helps!!!
