WHAT DRIVES US?

The Daniela Vieito Foundation was born from a desire we have all felt at some point: to help others. Throughout our experience in clinical practice, we have met many people who suffer, or have suffered, from abuse and maltreatment — both physical and psychological — something that is often very hard to recognise, because it is even harder to express.

We know first-hand the stories of many children and adolescents who live with this pain, as well as adults who endured it and still carry its scars.
That is why we decided to create this Foundation — to help these people, and all who need us, through the opposite of pain: love.

To turn darkness into light, the Daniela Vieito Foundation works to help people heal through the beauty of art, bringing together creativity and emotional development.

WHAT IS OUR DREAM?

Our dream — what we want to achieve — is for every person, and especially every child, to have access to the help they need in cases of abuse or maltreatment, and to have the opportunity to heal from what has harmed them, so that they can live freely once more.

We aim to become a place of trust and safety where anyone in need can come to find support, and to leave their pain behind through a range of activities such as:

•⁠  ⁠Transformative Art Events – emotional growth through imagery and creativity.
•⁠  ⁠Workshops, activities, and talks – teaching, from an early age, that self-love and love for nature are what should give meaning to our lives.
•⁠  ⁠Awareness campaigns (communications, social media, etc.).
•⁠  ⁠Connection with nature.

A multidisciplinary team ready to put our knowledge and hearts at the service of others.

Legal and notarial fees for the formal establishment of the Foundation.
Official registration and administrative procedures.
Design and essential materials for our first awareness campaign.
