Those of you who have been following our work will know that one of our biggest goals is to build an orphanage that will allow Solomon's children to live in better conditions while also providing shelter, food, and education to many more children in need—orphans, children rescued from the streets, and children with absolutely nothing.
Some time ago, we launched this fundraising campaign to make that dream possible, although so far we have only managed to raise a small amount of the funds needed.
We had already purchased a plot of land next to the rented house where the children were living. However, the Ugandan government later declared the area to be flood-prone, and we could not risk building there due to the possibility of future demolition. For this reason, we purchased a new plot of land in 2025 where it is safe and legal to build the orphanage.
TRAGEDY
Today, May 28, 2026, all the homes in the area were demolished, including the house where Solomon and the children had been living.
These children urgently need a new home.
Please help us build the orphanage that will provide safety, shelter, food, and hope for the children currently living with Solomon, as well as many other vulnerable children in the surrounding area.
