Hello, I am Fernando and together with my family I collaborate with For a Child's Smile (PSE) since 2003 and this year I am participating in Phnom Penh Express 2, a sports and solidarity event organized by For a Child's Smile. This NGO is supporting more than 1,600 families during the Covid-19 crisis. Many families have lost all their income. Schools have closed. The children that "Por la Sonrisa de un Niño" takes in throughout the year have had to return to their homes, where they live in situations of poverty. They need our help.
The group of PSE volunteers have decided to come to their aid and mobilize to raise funds. Our goal is to raise the money needed to feed 1,633 families during the months of May and June, which in total makes 65,962 €, which means a cost per family of 40 €.
As we cannot fly to Cambodia this summer due to the crisis, we have proposed to travel virtually between all of us the distance between our headquarters in Europe and the center of Phnom Penh, which makes a total of 13,000 km, in 6 weeks. So week by week, we will add up the kilometers that each participant has cycled, walked or run to see if we all manage to cover those 13,000 km.

PSE Por la Sonrisa de un Niño es una asociación declarada de utilidad pública que cuenta con el Sello ONG Acreditada por la Fundación Lealtad. La ONG actúa en Camboya desde 1995, trabajando con miles de niños en situación de extrema pobreza, para que tengan un futuro digno.
