Hi we are Jake and Daniel. Two lifelong Australian mates that have decided to ride bicycles, circumnavigating the entire island of Bali, Indonesia. We are doing so to raise much needed funds for the Harapan Project which is based in Sumbawa, Indonesia and to spread awareness to this amazing cause.
This selfless humanitarian organisation provides essential hospital care, medicine, urgent medical attention, education, sporting/social programs and so much more for those who are in need and otherwise would never have access to such services.
The Harapan Project is the brainchild of Carlos Ferrandiz. Carlos left his high paying job, friends and family in Spain to move to Sumbawa, Indonesia and help provide these much needed services. Since 2010, The Harapan Project has been operating solely on donations and helping many of these beautiful peoples lives to be better lived through compassion, medical assistance and education.
For a couple of Aussie’s who like all of us, love this country, the beautiful people, culture, lifestyle and way of life this is the least we can do to show our support and appreciation for a culture that we value so much. As Australian’s we know how charitable we are especially when it comes to our neighbouring Indonesian friend’s and family so please dig deep as any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated and go a long way in making a beautiful difference to so many people’s lives.
