Support Florence donate her hair to Children Cancer Wig Charity
I have had my hair for 10 years. I’m cutting it and want to use it to help make a difference to children with cancer.

I plan on cutting my hair and want to put the hair I cut to good use!
I can't imagine being sick and losing my hair and I know having a wig to wear would help me feel happier.
I plan to send my hair to a Spanish Charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.
Hair donations help reduce the cost of making a wig by 50%, but donations will help wigs available for free or cheaper for those in need.
Please help me raise money to support this charity and put my hair to good use to make a difference for a child with cancer.

AYÚDANOS A FABRICAR SONRISAS
En Mechones Solidarios recogemos donaciones de pelo para fabricar pelucas para mujeres y niñas en tratamiendo de quimioterapia que no tienen recursos o estos son limitados.
Creemos que el hecho de seguir viendose con pelo es un factor básico para la lucha contra el cáncer, ya que ayuda a sobrellevar la enfermendad con mayor autoestima y fuerza.
Atendemos un problema social: las prótesis capilares personalizadas de calidad no tienen un precio accesible a todos, dado que el coste del pelo natural es alto y la confección de pelucas y prótesis conlleva muchas horas trabajo, personal cualificado y diversos gastos materiales.
PERO... ¿QUÉ PASA SI CONSEGUIMOS
QUE LA GENTE DONE SU PELO?
Al conseguir el pelo de forma solidaria, el coste de la peluca desciende entre un 50% y un 70%. Se reduce tánto el precio porque tan solo hay que cubrir los gastos de producción. Esto nos permite crear pelucas gratuítas para todo el que no tenga recursos y a muy bajo precio para el sí los tenga.
Aún así, al no tener ayudas ni subvenciones, cada día luchamos para poder seguir adelante con esta labor, por eso te pedimos que nos ayudes a financiar el coste de fabricación de las pelucas, y poder así seguir cada día fabricando sonrisas.
