Sobre l'ONG

In the month of April 2024, I am going to take part again in the Cancer Support Group Mallorca “Walk against cancer”. I am taking on the same distance challenge as last year which is to walk 140km during the month. The difference this year is I have had another full year of chemo with a change mid year as one stopped working. One of the side effects making this even more of a challenge this year is severe neuropathy in my hands and feet along with naesau. I have stage 4 metastasised breast cancer and am very grateful that they keep finding new treatments each time one fails but each has its own set of side effects like, fatigue, and neuropathy, sickness, migraines etc so this will be quite the challenge for me! The support group help me in so many ways on my cancer journey so I am asking if any of my friends and family could help me raise some funds towards them helping others in a similar situations. Somos una asociación pequeña que ayudamos a pacientes extranjeros con cáncer con apoyo emocional, nutricional, etc en su propia idioma, además de traductores, tratamientos suplementarios y ayuda practica en la casa.
