We are preparing two containers, with almost 30 tons of different materials: canned goods, school utensils, clothing, tech equipments and so on, to the Casa do Gaiato orphanage, located in the rural south of Mozambique. At the orphanage live 154 little kids and teenagers, ages 3 to 18, who for one reason or another (diseases, poverty or abandonment), ended up orphan. Our Foundation aims to guarantee their health and education, as well as of those people close to the orphanage, who also benefit from the projects we develop in this area. Even though we relentlessly try to promote their economic and dietary autonomy, these shipments entail great relief for the kids, local community and workers of the Casa do Gaiato orphanage. Upon other things, the canned goods assure food security and the schooling utensils enhance adherence to the educative programs.
Both containers are filling up, but we need your collaboration to deal with the high shipment costs. Help us bring these containers to the Maputo port, and provide all kids from Casa do Gaiato with the everyday life utilities!
