Después de pasar 6 meses trabajando para la ONG Street Child España como parte de mi master, debo anunciar que me voy con ellos a Sierra Leona el 11 de mayo durante 3 meses!

Esta es una gran oportunidad para mi carrera y también para poder ver con mis propios ojos el destino del dinero que he ayudado a recaudar a la organización.

Uno de los retos más grandes para las ONGs es la recaudación de fondos y así poder financiar sus proyectos en los países en los que trabajan, y lo sé de primera mano, por eso estoy muy contenta de empezar una recaudación de fondos para ellos, los niños a los que ayudan, y mi objetivo es llegar a los 1.200 de recaudación.

En Street Child España utilizan la educación para empoderar a los niños más vulnerables del mundo para que puedan construirse un futuro sostenible. Desde que empezaron en 2008, han ayudado a más de 100.000 niños a volver a la escuela y han ayudado a miles de familias a generar ingresos sostenibles para que sus hijos puedan seguir estudiando.

Street Child cree firmemente que la educación es un aspecto vital para crecer. Sin unos fuertes cimientos de educación, ninguna comunidad podrá ser empoderada para mejorar la calidad de vida de sus niños y no habrá esperanza para un futuro mejor.

Esto es lo que Street Child puede hacer con vuestras donaciones:

20 euros: proporcionan ayuda de emergencia a una familia que lucha por cuidar a sus hijos.

35 euros: envían a un niño a la escuela durante un año.

70 euros: ayudan a poner en marcha un negocio en la ciudad, dando un vuelco maravilloso a la vida de una familia.

270 euros: financian el sueldo de un profesor durante un año, educando así a toda una comunidad.

1.200 euros: renuevan una escuela en un área remota, la amueblan y proporcionan materiales de enseñanza.

Por este motivo os pido que me ayudéis a esta recaudación de fondos ya que, además, cualquier donación por debajo de los 150 euros, te devuelven el 75% en la declaración de la renta del año siguiente, es decir, una donación de 10 euros sólo te costará 2 euros y medio y una de 20 te costará sólo 5 euros.

After my 6 months internship with Street Child Spain, I am now going to Sierra Leone on the 11th of May for 3 months!

This is a great opportunity for my career and also to be able to see with my own eyes the fate of the money that I have helped to raise.

One of the biggest challenges that NGOs face, is raising funds so they can finance their projects in the countries where they work, so I am very happy to start a fundraising campaign for them, the children that are being helped, and my goal is to reach 1,200€.

In Street Child Spain they use education to empower the world's most vulnerable children so that they can build a sustainable future.
