Sobre l'ONG

A very good friend of mine has a daughter who has been battling with an aggressive form of cancer known as neuroblastoma for the past 6 years. I've seen some of the undescribable tough times this has meant for him and his family, but have also seen the incredible level of support they have been receiving from the Spanish health service and the various charities which have been there for them throughout.

So in November this year, he and I will be running the Valencia Marathon in aid of the "Asociacion NEN", a charity set up by friends and famly of children who have suffered from neuroblastoma. The funds raised will support the ongoing research to help better treat this illness,at the Sant Joan de Deu hospital in Barcelona.

Please dig deep and support this worthwhile cause, and help people like my mate Dan Pons, his daughter Amber and all of their family to continue to receive the best treatment and support possible.

NEN reune fondos para proyectos de investigación del Neuroblastoma, un tumor pediátrico muy agresivo del que únicamente un 50 % de los niños supera el tratamiento.

NEN informa a las familias sobre los tratamientos actuales y opciones terapéuticas y colabora en dar a conocer la enfermedad en la sociedad y en las campañas de captación de fondos para la investigación que vienen realizando de diferentes movimiento sociales afines.
